[::..A9..::]
Went to bennett's lane last night with Daniel, Rowe and Spike a.k.a Allana. For some reason I paused when introducing Allana to Daniel. But I remembered her name but I paused and now feel bad coz she had to do it for me. Similar incident happened before, it was either my recital or 42, I think it was my recital. Anyway, I was talking to Rowe and Allana, when Kiran and his then girlfriend came up and (knowing that I SUCK at introducing people to other people), when introducing I got stuck at Allana's name. (Though, given at that point, I only knew her as "Spike"). So there was that whole awkward feeling *sigh*, as I felt last night. But now thinking about it some more, it was actually a different awkward coz I knew her name, yet I stumbled. What does that mean? Should get Naomi to figure that one out, she is good at the "TOK" thinking.
But yes, Bennett's Lane. I met to go see Yvette but silly me read the calender on the website wrong and found that Nichaud Fitzgibbon was singing instead. She was good, though not as good as Yvette. But she had a very clear tonality but no where near as good technique. Also she had this really stupid and annoying way of addressing the audience that sounded totally fake. And the drummer had dreads, that was interesting and there was a saxophone player too. But it looks like I'll be waiting till May to hear Yvette again, which is a VERY long way away.
Ooh and it is NOW official! I will be going to the James Marsters convention on the 3rd of July! :D:D:D:D I gave the money to Rowe last night. I can't wait! :D
And now on to the real reason I wanted to write this blog. Before Daniel and I went to Bennett's Lane, we stopped off at Yoyogi's to have dinner. And as everyone, (even the PLC girls I bumped into said something about me and naomi and A9 - See Naomi, we are famous and its all to do with A9) knows, A9 is all that Naomi and I eat at Yoyogi. Pretty much since we have started going there. And I had the intention of continuing with that tradition, but as per usual Daniel was teasing me about it, so I actually looked at the menu and decided to order something else! *shock horror* I mean, this is such a big step for me. Three or four years of ordering the SAME dish is a LONG time. I felt liberated, a new person! I'm not obsessive compulsive! (Oh Nai, go watch Matchstick Men. It will make you feel better about being OC). So I went up to pay the bill coz we were eating outside. Yoyogi's all paranoid about eating and running away and not paying. I mean what is with that? :P
But either by fate or just pure coincidence, the other dish that I was prepared to eat over A9 was apparently sold out. So I ended up eating a A9 anyway. Just goes to show that you should just stick with tradition. (though that other dish sounded really yummy so next time I'm there, I'm ordering the other dish)

[::..Blob! ..::]
Check out my new addition to my blog. Isn't he just so pretty!? :P I tried blogging before, but the window closed on me while I was in the middle of ranting about my Prop 1 lecturer. He has one of those voices that no matter how hard you try, how much you attempt to make sense of what he is saying, you just CAN'T! It is humanly impossible. Also, it didn't help the fact that he was talking about how maths is related to property. *shiver* I just can't escape! *bawls eyes out* I hate compound interest. I have tried time and time again to remember how to make sense of it, and i'll remember it for a couple of days and then go and forget it again. ARGH. And now I have to know it again! *whimper* It sucks. BIG time. But ooh look at my blob. Ok happy again :D

Generally, things (like this quiz) tend to tick you off. You have contemplated doing grievous bodily harm to door-to-door salesmen.
Which Weird Latin Phrase Are You? brought to you by Quizilla
 You are a human shadow. If a loved one needs you, you are always right at his or her heels! Your deep social connection with human beings produces your qualities of genuine caring and charisma. However, at times you are naive to the true nature of your loved ones. Remember that humans' gift of free will does not always lead them in wise directions. But your essence of love and friendship represent the other precious gifts of humanity. Overall you are a strikingly valuable and innocent being who has a lot to give.

[::..Singing, tourette's tram drivers ..::]
You have all never really thought about it. Coz it is one of those things that normally goes unnoticed. Unless you had the chance to have the tram driver that I did this morning and surprisingly, I think I got him again despite the 6/7 hour difference between tram rides. The morning ride wasn't so bad. At least, I actually thought this guy was cool. I was just looking out the window, minding my own business when the tram driver dude starts singing into the microphone, "Mondaayyy, Mondaaaayyyy. It's a beautiful Mondaaaay!" Funny that the first thing that I did was look out the window and notice that there were no clouds in the sky so yes it was a beautiful Monday. But after that he turned his mic off, so I assumed that he accidently left it on coz I heard him singing quietly to himself again.
I didn't think anything of it after that, but when I was catching the tram back to Melbourne Central, it was the same tram driver. Unless all of them had been diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. Also I think that it had been a LONG day for him in that driver's seat, and obviously the walks to and from the two driving ends isn't enough to keep him sane. This time he came out with things like "If you want to jump of the tram, just do it!!" <-- that one is the only one that really sticks out in my mind. I was seriously getting worried that this guy was on something drug-like. When we reached Melbourne Central he said, "Here is where you get off to catch the train home. Have fun! See you later alligator!"
As you can imagine, I jumped off pretty fast.

[::..Counting down to the 3rd of July...112 days..::]
Oh dear. I didn't realise that the 3rd of July was that far away. For some reason my head didn't talk into account that there is April, May and June inbetween March and July. Kinda disappointing that the James Marsters day is 112 days away. I think I'll not count for about two months and than the numbers will be smaller and I'll be happy :D The only thing that I am having trouble is, is that once I hand over the $120, I won't have any more money in the bank. And since somebody speical's b'day is coming up, I won't have any money :( Hopefully I'll be able to think of something soon. ;)
But yes James Marsters. Not only did I find out that he is turning 42 this year. (like OMG! this guy is too hot to be over 40) But I finally am able to meet the guy. There was a convention that he came to Australia to, I was 13 but it was in Sydney and coz I was too young and had no money, I wasn't able to go. :( But finally my chance comes around again. :D:D:D:D And this time, I am rewarded coz it's in MELBOURNE!!!!!!!! Though I am sad that Naomi isn't able to come. I tried to get her a ticket too but even my ticket was hard to get.They had already sent the order in and had to call up again to see if they could get an extra ticket. They were able to get one but not two so its sucky. But I promise to have LOTS of pictures. Ooh maybe I can post them up on here, for anyone that is interested. :P
By the way, Naomi's blog is VERY disturbing and if you want a reminder on how your life is really good go read about her's. :P

[::..Reject..::]
re.ject
tr.v. re·ject·ed, re·ject·ing, re·jects
To refuse to consider or grant; deny.
To discard as defective or useless; throw away.
To spit out or vomit --> (LMAO - sorry that one is just funny)
To refuse to accept, submit to, believe, or make use of.
To refuse to consider or grant; deny.
Yes, that is what I am. A Reject. I went to the I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change audition today. T'was good in the fact that I was able to sing after not singing for about three months now. But I didn't get in. Which is why I am a reject. So mometarily I felt bad. And then went to look up on the net about the show and found a very interesting fact. In the cast, there is only four people. That's right. FOUR And two of those are girls. So in retrospect, I'm not that surprised that a short 1st year didn't get in. And there was over 100 people auditioned for that. Hmm...though a chorus role would have been nice but wait a second! How can there be a chorus when there are only FOUR people who can be in it?!?!?! No I am not bitter. Though I have to say the music is pretty good and the alto range was just nice... oh well.

[::..Rowden White Library, Melbourne University, Parkville..::]
Hmm, Now I am beginning to wonder if it was such a wise idea to go and have a title for every blog I do, coz most of the time, I can't seem to think of anything witty or worth going in the pink font. *sigh* Well, I am at Uni, waiting oh so patiently between lectures. *BIG SIGH* Its sooo annoying and it doesn't help that I am very hungry either. :( All that was in my mum's wallet was 5c. That is seriously a problem. But yes, I'm meeting Naomi for lunch coz she has something to talk to me about...I wonder what it is? It has to be something that happened last night coz I only spoke to her yesterday. Hmm, yes well, my mind is thinking all these different possibilites, most of which are probably exagerated and far-fetched. :P But if she doesn't know yet and she happens to go read it here (I highly doubt it) she got in to one of the musicals here at uni, Priates of Penzance one. so congrats naomi. and i think you should just do it. :D
Yesterday I was late for my 9am lecture coz of the STUPID people wanting to get on the trams at Melbourne Central. Bloody Hell. If I was able to get on one then I woudln't be late but honestly! There was one lady, a rep from the Met, yelling at people. But I missed TEN trams coz she didn't look after the poor people who were standing near LaTrobe St. Thankfully another dude from the Met came and saw that we were standing there for 1/2 hour. Today I wasn't late, well not really. I had to go check what time my Prop 1 lect was going to start. So I go up to his office and he was on the phone. So if course i wait, thinking that I have enough time to ask him that SIMPLE question but he completely ignores me staying on the phone for 15 minutes and making me late for my lecture. :@:@ In the end I only spoke to him for 1 minute. aiiii.....
Hmm, there really isn't anything else that blogworthy. I mean I can hear the snoring from here coz of my boring splat about my lectures and public transport. Maybe I can find some quizs...

[::..Crazy and .... CRAZY!..::]
Well, I haven't really been blogging of late. Partly coz I have just finished my first week of uni, and that I hadn't had any comments at all :( :( Makes me realise that hardly anyone reads my blog. Oh well, what can I do? I know my life, OR what I choose to write about in this blog (hee hee) isn't that interesting. But hee if you do read it, please comment. Makes me feel better. :D
Well, yes Uni has began. FINALLY! I don't wanna sound like Naomi here, but I was kinda getting tired of having nothing to do. Though there is no way that I would actively go and do some prep work for my subs or anything, since really I can't with subjects like, "Shaping the Metropolis", "Skills for Urban Planning and Design", "Property 1" and "Environmental Change". Not like the typical subjects like in School. (this is my way of rationalising reasons not to :P) But I was so ready to start this "new chapter in my life". Though attending O week was just hectic, with all the people, SO many people. Do you know there is apparently 39,000 people that go to Melbourne Uni??? That is soooo much, well maybe not, but coming from a school with only about a thou, it's alot.
I've found that my brain has really turn to total mush. I was in Skills for Urban Planning and Design (aka UP&D - I don't particularly want to type that out EVERY time I talk about that class) Well, in the first class we had already got an assignment that goes to our final grade :S. It was sketching our room from memory. Then we had to go home, measure everything in our room and come back and draw it up to scale. But I had so much brain trouble when it came to working out how to draw my bay windows to scale. I was thinking "Do I have to work out this using pythag, or trig?" and "I can't do that!!! I had left maths behind when i finished the exam! :S" But I had enough brain power to just go and ask the tutor for help. That's the way to get things fixed now people, ask for help. Don't try and do silly maths things in your head. :D
One bad thing about Uni, is the amount of money you have to spend on things. Though I have to admit now that I don't have to spend as much as other ppl, like the architecture and biomedical science ppl. Since all I knew that I had to spend before uni started was two readers that totalled to $21.60 But then i find out that Enviro Change lecturer couldn't be bothered ordering the reader OR the textbook we are all supposed to have before uni started either. :@:@ So now i realise that I have to buy a $100 something textbook and a $20 something reader. Not only that, but i have to spend money on supplies for my UP&D class. I went to Bullwinkles (hee i love that name, t'is so cool! :D) to look at the prices and total the cost. It came to $67 though I didn't take into consideration the "yellow tracing paper" that is thinner than normal tracing paper. Aii...yes yes I know my expenses are WAY less than others but this is my venting spot is it not??
On the UP side, it is nice to be able to make some new friends, though I do seem to be still hanging out with my fellow IBers and other plc ppl. I wouldn't want to go and just shut out all my highschool friends, coz that is stupid. And at the same time, I wouldn't want to cling to them either. You need a healthy balance between the two. Coz it would be such a waste to go and dump your highschool friends after so many years. There is one girl, who I shall call "ilam" who apparently has dumped her friends like a hot sponge (yes that is for you naomi :P) coz she is doing "med" now and she has her "med" friends. Ooh I have also figured out why all the med students don't come out of their building.
They.
Have.
A.
Common.
Room.
Equipped with a pool table and EVERYTHING. How unfair is that?? :@ And they get better lecture theatres, the lecture theatres around my area are old and have no airconditioning :( The Balwin Spencer Theatre is sooooo old, it could be one of the oldest in the place. Everything is made of wood so your arse gets REAL sore after a while. But the weird thing is is that each seat has numbers that the lecturer can see. So all he/she would have to do is call out "Hey You! No. 34 Shut your gap!" How antipersonal is that. Terrible. I can't wait to start my tutes. I've come so used to being in such small classes with IB. It will be nice to have that again.
Anyway, bored now.
