    [::..The END is near!! ..::]

    Oh my goodness, I can't believe that I had my final day yesterday. The years have seriously just floated away and now I am only a week away from my first exam. ARGH!!!! Also I apologise for not blogging earlier, but I have been trying very hard not to go near the net coz of obvious reasons. But come the 19th of November, you all better watch out coz you all aren't gonna be able to keep up! HA HA HA!

    Leavers' Assembly was an exciting event. It is the last formal essembly for yr 12s and we have to wear uniform and everything. I had a moment with my summer uniform coz it would be the last time i would ever wear it. There are all these speeches from the principal and our yr level coordinator. Principal speech was boring as per usual but I quite enjoyed Mrs. Knox speech. I even noticed that Alexia didn't fall asleep. :P Then everyone in the entire year level had to go up and accept a bible, testimonal and an invitation to the Old Collegian society. Whoop-dee-doo! And yay for me, coz I got an "Acedemic Excellence in IB HL Music"!! Naomi got one for HL english and that is really speical too! Not many people, less then half, get those so I felt honoured. And then there was an morning tea thing with parents and teachers. fun.

    Moving on, had a CHIME rehearsal on that Thursday night, which was fun except for the fact that I couldn't sing coz I had been supporting a very sore throat all day. And silly me just sang away anyway. It is really hard not to sing when you are surrounded by people singing, it sucks. Interestingly, I heard some gossip from Mrs. Turner about how they kicked out (and this is old news to some) all the really bad old singers. At the end of one rehearsal last year, some older ladies were bitching about how these people had just sneaked in and they couldn't even read music or sing. So when Naomi and I went back, more then half were all these young people, teenagers mostly. It was nice for about 5 mins to see Jess Bok again. She left school last year and it was a surprise to see her at Chime again. It is just that she really likes to Bitch and mostly all you can do is just nod and smile. I couldn't be stuffed trying to say anything coz it is just too tiring. Also it was nice to see this girl I met at the performances we did at Chime. Millie, I haven't spoken to her since then and we just began talking like we have been all year. It's nice to know that you can do that with some people. I just wonder how you could tell some people that they suck. I know Dicko and Mark Holden can do it on national tv but I know I couldn't without feeling like a complete jerk afterwards.

    Speaking of Australian Idol. Guy is the ultimate cool dude! Oh he is sooo cool! I am really enjoying his performances and singing and I LOVED what he said on Inside Idol. SO funny about not getting a hug from that Lion mascot thing. And I am sooo over the whole Paulini fiasco, she looks perfectly fine! Personally I didn't see too much terribleness over what she wore. Also I think she looks really good in gold, it works really well with the tone colour of her skin. Though i didn't like that silver thing in the middle though. And YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY! It is Jazz and Blues night this Sunday!! Oh I did the dance of joy and I can't wait to hear Guy scat! :D And about Millsy leaving, it was time. Compared to the other four you could feel that he would be the one to go. I have a feeling that Shannon might because of the whole Jazz thing but he really did pull off last week with that "When a Man loves a Woman". Oh my, I had tingles. Very sexy. But we shall see what he does this week. I can't wait!

    Anyway the point of this blog, which I now get onto, is yesterday. The PLC yr 12 2003 final day/muck up day. I slept over at Naomi's house coz she was giving me crap for not wanting to get up and join the festivities. So we planned to go at about 6:30 which meant we had to leave her house at about 6:15 or 6:20 but Naomi has to be one of the hardest persons to get out of bed. I was sooo tempted to pour water on her head. But then her bed would get wet and that is just gross. Hey, I should have just done ice, that would have worked and there wouldn't be that much of a mess. But then there is the whole getting back at me thing. That is no fun.

    So we ended up getting there a little after 7, I wasn't feeling well and wasnt' going to get wet either but some person, and i dont' know who, came up and poured all this water on my back. All my hard work of staying out of the way, so I figured what the hell, I am already half wet and screw getting sick. So I was on a war rampage shooting everyone and in the end, I had more fun. Naomi got sooooooaking wet and she didn't dry for hours after. I have to say that Wen and Bev are the most evil of them all. They show no mercy. Wen esp. But it was just as much fun getting them back. Afterwards we had an assembly to show the yr 12 video we made for the rest of the school. It was pretty funny.

    The funny thing is, in our yr level we have a student called Elizabeth Ward and it so happens that our principal is also called Elizabeth Ward. SO there was a gag on that. We had a Aus Idol segment were I was told I had to sing nicely. And man, that was the most embarrassing thing! It is just embarrassing. I hated it. *shudder*

    What else, oh well now I am sick from getting wet at 7am at a temp of 9 degrees. So I am taking a day off from work and I'll start tomorrow. Exams start on the 4th of Nov....

    bored now

    ps: When Nai and I were at Camberwell eating lunch, there was this dude were was talking to his shoes. Just thought I would mention that..

    [::....::]

    Hee, Yes i know I have been a very bad bad girl for not updating this blog of mine. Though I was thinking why bother coz I haven't done any interesting or exciting. Though I am in the middle of my prac exams, only Bio and Geo to do on Monday and then it is back to school for three weeks. Whoop-Di-Do! Though I am kinda looking forward to the return trip down to Junior School where I spent 2 years. All that reminicing...I can't wait! And then much up day and the final assembly! Hee i know I am soo going to cry. Hell, I even cried when the last year's yr 12s left. Yes, I know, I am very sad.

    Anyway...Australian Idol! Man the amount of times this has been the topic of conversation. So this will be brief. WHOOHOO i am so happy that Lauren is gone, she is just not ready for the whole performaning thing and please girl watch your breathing. She does NOT know how to breathe properly. And please stop crying! *wack*. I was disappointed that Cle left. And it was so nice of her to help out Lauren and stuff. And poor Millsy how "awwworthy" was the fact that he was soo upset about Cle going. Everyone: Aw!

    My top fav 5 are and this is in no particular order: Guy, Paulini, Millsy, Levi and Cosima
    My top 3 best singers:
    1. Guy --> has the most amazing technique. he can do anything he wants with this voice. So cool
    2. Paulini --> This girl's the bomb as Holden would say. She has an amazing voice, really nice to listen to. Ooh Ooh and when Deni Hines and her were singing that "Sparrow" song from Sister Act 2! Dude, that was sooooooo cool! I loved it!
    3. Cosmia --> Another very good singer. You can tell she knows what she can do with her voice. Though it would be nice to hear her step away from the "dance numbers"
    My Top 3 Fav Performers:
    1. Millsy! --> My man from Melbourne! Oh this guy has us all eating out of the palm of his hand. He seems like the coolest, most down to earth and funniest guy.
    2. Levi --> This guy knows how to work the stage. Plus I love the music he chooses.
    3. Cosima --> Looks so comfortable on stage. Really has improved the most. Man I am starting to sound like the judges... o_O

    So what did I do since the 22nd of Sep... Well on the Wednesday I went to Bennett's Lane. And that was interesting. And I will decide now not to delve into the details but listened to Joe Chindamo Trio which was amazing. I think I have been lucky to only see some really really good musicans and singers at BL coz some of my friends have said they have been there and seen some really bad ppl, well ordinary. Dave Beck, drummer extraordinare was playing and I said Hi, to keep those Jazz Contacts for when i get into the VCA (HA!) And Jay do not say anything and you to Naomi. o_O <--I love that face...hee

    Did some studying for those prac exams that I am supposed to do well in. Got to do two more on monday, borrowed some more movies. Lemme see I saw "Inspector Gadget 2" which was filmed in Brisbane so there was a flock of aussie actors in it. Sigrid Thorton from SeaChange was one. I can't remember the others. Actually I only watched the audio commentary which was probably more entertaining then the movie (hey it was a kids movie) and all the time they were commenting how cool Australia was and the Aussie Actors. Aww doesn't that make you feel proud to be Australian! And I saw "Wasabi" with Jean Reno, its a french film (no duh) but set in Japan. It was really weird seeing all these Japanese people speaking French. Weird.

    This Monday I went to have a singing lesson with Erynn Hines, she has done the Jazz Improv course a couple of years back so having lessons from her hopefully will prove to be worthwhile and afterwards I went to the VCA Info Night. That was interesting. I met Hayley from the Aussie Idol Top 40, funny though that nearly everyone I tell that too, they don't remember who she is. But there was this one guy and Alex Pertout was asking everyone what they played etc and when he was about to move on, this guy puts up his hand and says, "Oh I play Flute" Personally I didn't know that there are Jazz Flute Players out there so at the time I thought it was REALLY funny.

    Oh and One more thing to say. GO LIONS!!! GO THE BRISBANE LIONS!!!!! Oh man I can NOT believe that we have won 3 IN A ROW!!!!!!! Though I admit that I was too chicken to watch the Grand Final but I was smart :) and taped it, so if we won i could watch and if we lost, which I soo thought were going to lose but they didn't! HAHAHAHA!! SO cool and Collingwood, eat my shorts!
