Hello! Haven't updated in a while, though I was going to do it but when i went to check if i had lovely comments ;) it had disappeared and the site that hosts it had disappeared too. But it is back now. Probably something happened to the site. Oh my mum went away to Qld for the weekend so to celebrate :P we borrowed 6 DVDs: The Wild Thornberrys (that was good, it's made by the same ppl who made the Rugrats so it had to be good!), Johnny English (that wasn't the best movie in the world. Some bits were funny but overall: eh) Die Another Day, Bend it like Beckham and I am Sam.
I absolutely LOVED Bend it Like Beckham and I think now, I have to go out or marry o_O an Irishman. I love that accent, i swear they are the sexiest things in the world. It is such a funny movie, all the Curry Jokes and stuff LMAO. oh my gosh, do you know how old the actress who plays Jess is?? She is 28 now! I couldn't believe it, she looks so young. And Jules is only 18 and she looks older then her. And Parminder Nagra is going to join the cast of ER. Though i saw a recent pic of her and she looks her age. Coz we watched it on a dvd, we also listened to the commentary done by the director and her husband who co-wrote it with her. It was a good commentary since she had interesting things to say. One the James Bond one, there are two. One with the director and then the other with Pierce and the Ice lady dude. That one was Boring coz they hardly talked, esp Pierce. Quiet man that one. You really need someone who can talk. Though i would expect it to be hard but surely you could write down stuff that you could talk about in each scene.
I am Sam was soo good. Sean Penn is an amazing actor extremely talented. He just embodied Sam so well. Michelle Pheiffer was good too, that lady can cry. But kudos go to the little girl who played Lucy. She is sooo cute but she has this older feel about her. She just looks soo wise. I thought perfect for the role. Hee, enough of the reviewing. But I do suggest to all to borrow those films if you haven't seen them already.
ooh ooh, (Helgz ;) ) I went and saw Freaky Friday and LOVED it, it was soooo funny. And yes Jay I did laugh at loud throughout the whole movie, but it was soo funny. Jamie Lee Curtis is amazingly good at acting all teenlike and getting away with it. Not once did I cringe at what she was saying or doing. Lindsay Lohan (the girl from Parent Trap) she was good too. Similar role to her one in Parent Trap, having to play two different ppl. And she pulled it off well. And then there was CMM. LMAO there was this one scene where he senernades singing "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and it was just hilarious! I was still laughing when i got home. :P Not much of an acting stretch though. Though when Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan's characters swapped bodies, he had to follow the daugher so he had to act all lovey dovey with Jamie. That was slighty disturbing but nothing happened. (thank god) Everyone has to go see it.
other than that not much has happened. Oh I could talk about Aus Idol too. I was really impressed with Levi, Paulini, Cosima, Rob, Cle but Lauren really didn't do much for me, she picked a great song but something was missing. Rebekah wasn't really there, I think she was too tired but even so you wouldnt' let that get to you esp when ppl are voting for you. Peter didn't do a very good rendition of Your Song. Sadly I had Ewan McGregor's version in my head. anyway we all find out who gets kicked out tonight!

Mum went on a shopping spree! Whoo Hoo! It's interesting coz when mum goes shopping it ain't for just the little things but she has to buy really BIG stuff! Today she bought a sandwich maker (I tried it out, makes very nice sandwiches YUM!), a whole new washing machine, coz the old one has caused soooo much grief. Even I am sick of it, so we get it tomorrow. And the best two bits. A brand spanking new DVD player and a CD burner thing for dad's computer. The coolest thing about this new DVD player is that it plays absolutely everything under the sun, meaning also that it is a multi zone player too! WHOO HOO!! See now I can play all my Buffy and Angel DVDs as well. See the history of the old DVD player is mum bought it from Malaysia meaning that it could only play DVDs from Zone 3 and Aus is in Zone 4 so that was really sucky. But now, no more problems like that!
I ended up not going to Bennetts Lane tonight. Reason being that the trio I thought was going to be playing weren't when I went to double check on the website. Apparently (and even though the website said otherwise) I found out elsewhere that they perform every Weds except the 17th. So I'm going to go next Weds with Rowe. YAY!
Oh Roon, thanks for your msg! hee :P Ooh those who read this blog, go check out her new Fragment ficlet. It is really sweet. *sigh*

You know, I don't really think that my blogs are all that interesting. LOL Probably coz I really do talk about mundane and really boring uninteresting stuff. I mean, hell the last interesting thing I talked about what those pissing kids. Oh the zoo was fun by the way. The elephants have a new inclosure. Very cool. The one thing I don't get about animals is that they dont' mind swimming in their own shit. Maybe that is the dividing power that separates us from any animals. Hey! Don't laugh, it could be true.
I also would like to make a mention about Roon. Roon is my very good friend from South Africa and just so happens to be the most amazingly creative and subtle writer there is. She is just amazing. I love reading her stuff. I just thought that, to those who do read this blog will also know this fact. Coz really it is a fact. So Roon, there you go. No more of I can't do it, coz you sooooo can! Love ya! :P
Also my buddy Rowe has also uppitied up and gotten herself a Blog too! Oh we are taking over the WORLD! Wahahahahahahaha! *cough* Anyway there might be the possibility that she has had it for a while and has not told me! Hem. Anyway her link is up there too so check it out!
I went to that Jazz Improvisation Workshop but unfortunately I don't think the singing part of it was really taylored to people who have had any experience at all. So coming out of the building, I realised that I hadn't really learnt anything new. Oh well.
Bennett's Lane I think is on for tomorrow but who knows. And sorry Naomi but I mention all my rantings here (:P) she went without me to BL on Friday when I said that I wanted to go. o_O And Allison Wedding was performing! But hopefully I will go tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
Oh and I have a feeling that Helgz and I may actually be related in some way. We have discovered more stuff that are the same between us. We are allergic to the same stuff! Milk products and it is NOT everyday that you find someone else who has gone through what you have gone through. So very cool. And totally weird. Very very weird. But Helgz knows I luv ya! :)
I actually tried this time to not make this sooo boring. But most probably I will fail. o_O <-- I love this face! hee it is soo cool.
oh and here is my yr book quote: There are three kinds of people that no one understands: Geniuses, Madmen and people who mumble

I thought since the last time I actually blogged was Sunday, I would do another blog. Funny thing is, I don't really have that much to say. hee... wait, well tonight is Music Roundabout! YAY! This is one of the most funnest events my school has. They only started this new performance night, last year. But the organization wasn't that crashhot. But this year, hopefully it will better. *fingers crossed*
I'm going to the zoo zoo zoo
And how about you you you
I'm going to the zoo zoo zoo
How about you you you
Can you tell that I am going to the zoo today! Who would guess that a bunch of yr 12 Bio students would go on an excursion to the zoo!! How fun! I wouldn't have guessed that I would go to the zoo in yr 12. I think the last time I went there was in yr 8 or 9. Oh man, and the only thing that I remember was I was walking around with a friend somewhere in that place. And these three young boys were running around playing by themselves. I think we were near the monkeys or something coz all of a sudden, one kid just pulls his pants down and takes a leak right there in the middle of the path! And as all other kids do, they copy! So all three are pissing in the path. I'd just wish that the parents would have come up and then been really embarrassed coz their kids taking a leak in public. I remember some fine moments in my life. :
Oh we got the yr 12 hoodie today. It is black and hot pink. Though the blackness is starting to piss me off! You can see all the dust and other crap so easily. argh. But the hot pink is nice. I admit that I didn't think the colour scheme was such a good idea. But seeing it, it ain't so bad anymore. Oh I really want to go see Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow. But right now, the possibility of going looks quite slim.
Ok I am really searching for something to write....
and definitely bored now

WHoo hoo! I am using that cool new layout that I found eariler...I didn't know I could get this on my comp. Well, it isn't completely the same as the other one but similar...maybe a few more clicks here and there and then this new layout will be complete. Now, I warn you all coz I am about to scream....ALL MY INTERNAL ASSESSMENT IS DOOOONNNNEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just did my Indo Oral today and it is over. La la la! La la la! *Does the dance of joy* "Internal assessment is over yeah! Internal assessment is over yeah! (to the Cha cha song) Oh it feels good. All this relief coursing through my body. Hm....nice.
Oh and Naomi, that comment was the lamest ever. *sigh* See after all those phone calls I now know that you don't listen to me when I'm talking to you on the phone. You say you are but you're not!! Oh and those pics you sent me, whoa bigness. I started to download them to this comp but then I realised that I shouldn't bother coz I am going to do that page at school.
*sigh* Damn all this yr 12 stuff. You would think that all the extra specialness about yr 12, like the year book, the hoodie, the IB t-shirt (HA!) and all that would be nice and cool but really it just adds extra work on to us. Though I have to admit that I am looking forward to the yr 12 vid!! I hope ours is funny, coz last year's wasn't as good as the year before.
OOh OOh I should mention the most wonderfulistic movie I saw on Saturday! FINDING NEMO!! Oh that is the bestest movie I have seen in ages (true I haven't seen a movie in donkey's years but still...) Oh I just loved it! And the whole setting in Australia and with Aussie voices was extra topping. Oh and Jay told me today, the mastermind of all things cartoons, that Dewy from Malcom in the Middle is Nemo's voice!! How cool is that! Though I have to say there is a toss up between the best character between Doris or Crush! But they were both hilarious! Aww I wanna see it again! and I am soo going to go buy the DVD when it comes out. Be sure that who ever hasn't seen it goes to see it as soon as possible! Oh and one of the best bits was when the little squid girl got scared and all this ink spurted underneath her and she says "Aww you made me ink!" LMAO!!
Oh Bennett's Lane my friends! You all must go! I can't wait till the end of this week coz then I can go and listen to all things Jazz! And Jay here is another mention for you: Beck's trio plays there every Wed is month...and also Yvette Johansson and Alison Wedding, who was recommended to me by Lok. Lots of Jazzieness!
Like Roon, who puts up her writing I thought I would do the same, since I actually wrote something for a change! hee hee.... It is an article for "Patchwork" our school end-of-year mag.
With what began as a “simple” idea, to act, direct, write, produce, design, advertise a small one-act play, and not to mention the video, we did not believe all this could have been possible. It all began in November 2002, where two deranged writers, Tegan Jones and Naomi Smith, brainstormed some really bad ideas about bridesmaids dressed as flowers (don’t ask), when the foundation of forty-two began. With the expertise of filmmakers Jess Flint and Leigh Bulled, hours of Hollywood worthy footage was compressed into a poignant and heart wrenching lead into the drama on stage. But all that couldn’t been possible without the wonderfulistic and talented actors, Mei-Ping Doery, Tegan Jones, Krystin Low, Shalini Srikanthan and Emily Twidale. Kyrstin realized halfway through rehearsals, that playing a dead person really wasn’t that easy. Maybe that is why she was always late… Several “Mei-isms” were introduced into the script. One being “Listen to me-ah!” Emily provided much distraction to our amusement, when she found many similarities between herself and Rebecca while Shalini’s own personality mirrored Hannah’s beautiful caring nature. As the lovable innocent Ashley, Tegan delivered an “eks-pecially” heartfelt portrayal. And of course, and we are being serious now, the insightful and inspiring directing from two amazingly gifted people, Savitri Judiono and Naomi Smith. All our efforts and looong rehearsals finally culminated in a two-night run, in which the cast made the audience laugh, cry and ponder on all that extra “people live, people die” stuff.
whoa, this blog ended up being big...well from what I can see.

What a busy busy busy week! And my recital is OVER!!! And I am actually quite happy with it. Though I have to say that afterwards I was sooo completely exhausted, singing 8 songs and all the concentration I made my self have is draining. I had a massive headache afterwards but it was worth it! AND OMG!! The frickin' house band that I got to perform with. WOOHOO they are SOOOO good!! I was on a complete high in the rehearsal. I couldn't believe that I was going to be backed up by such good musicians. I bet you they have all been to the VCA...I know that the pianist is going there now. 3 out of the 4 accompaning me teach at school and my school paid the drummer to come in, Dave Beck. He is really good. (And, No. I am not going to babble on about him) All I have to say is: He is a drummer and like all drummers, he is cool. :) I just like to mention all the wonderfulistic people who gave me flowers: Jay, Shal and Annabel, thank you, it was really sweet of you. My family weren't there coz I didn't want them to be and neither did they. I know that may sound bad but it is just sooooooooooo much easy if they aren't. It is so much harder to perform when you can see your family or parents in the audience. *shudder* The two times my dad has been at one of my performances, and we made eye contact I stumbled and forgot my words.
Also wonderful news is that I have finished my compositions, and this time for real. And almost so close to finishing my musical investigation, I just have to fix up some little things and then that will be done too! All that is left is my INDO ORAL!!! ARGH!!! But that's ok. I can do it. *breathe*
oh, I have to say that today was the first time in a LONG time that I have forgotten to tape Days. And I knew that he would be on, but eh. Stupid Nicole is being a bitch again and I rather not see anyway.
